NHS Ashford Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is hosting a discussion on health and wellbeing to help develop local plans for services in Ashford and the surrounding area.

The Ashford Health and Wellbeing Reference Group will be holding its first meeting on 11 June, 11am – 1pm, at the Ray Allen Centre, Stanhope Road, Ashford, TN23 5RN, to listen to your views and experiences.

This workshop is open to everyone: patients, carers, the public, voluntary or community groups and our local partners in the council, or other caring organisations.

Dr Navin Kumta, Chair of the CCG, said: “The NHS is facing many challenges and is working hard to deliver better healthcare. We need you to come and work with us to help shape the services you want for your community in the future, and explore how we can work together to improve health and wellbeing for everyone in Ashford.

“At the workshop we will be considering care for frail and vulnerable people and how to make sure they live healthy independent lives.   Part of the discussion will be on how they return safely home from hospital, as quickly as possible with the right care and support.”
