Sarah has many years of experience of working in the NHS, having started her career by training as a registered General Nurse in the 1980s at Medway Hospital.
Sarah went on to train and work locally as a Midwife and Health Visitor, as well as completing specialist education in safeguarding. Sarah has held a variety of clinical and strategic leadership roles within acute, community, mental health and commissioning organisation both locally and in South East London. Through all these roles Sarah has maintained a focus on delivering high quality services and ensuring patient safety.
Sarah was previously Chief Nurse for Medway CCG, a role which included sitting as an executive member of the CCG Governing Body and helping to shape local services as well as leading work on assuring Quality, Safety and safeguarding within commissioned services across Medway.
Sarah grew up in Medway and still lives locally. She has grown up children and recently became a proud grandmother.
