Dr Mark Davies

Clinical lead for planned (medical) care

Dr Mark Davies has been a GP at Kingsnorth Medical Practice, Ashford, since 2002. He is the CCG’s clinical lead for planned care.

Dr Davies is responsible for pre-assessment services, referral and treatment pathways, surgery in primary care, minor injury services, outpatient services and the lead for diabetic services and reorganisation. His clinical areas of interest include diabetes and ear, nose and throat (ENT).

Kingsnorth Medical Practice was in the first wave of Personal Medical Services practices and has been at the forefront of commissioning services for patients. Dr Davies has also been involved in setting up paediatric ENT and gynaecology services.

He studied at Charing Cross and Westminster medical school in London and started practising in 2002. He has diplomas in head and neck surgery, child health, the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He is a member of the British Medical Association.

Dr Davies was born in Ashford and is married with two children. He spends his spare time with his family and enjoys playing golf.
