Mum of two Bethan Haskins was appointed Chief of Nursing and Quality for NHS Ashford CCG at the end of April. She has strong experience from both the public and private sectors.
She trained at the University of Hertfordshire and South Bank University and worked within the private sector, Nuffield Healthcare and then BMI Healthcare, for 11 years before moving to the NHS. She has been a director of nursing, regional director of nursing and executive director.
Bethan was born in Sevenoaks and, other than her time at university, has always lived in Kent. For the past 15 years she has lived in West Malling.
She has two children, Henry, nine, and Tabitha, five. She has sung in choirs since she was a child and was a choral scholar at St Martin in the Fields, Trafalgar Square while at university. She still sings when time allows and is a member of the Rochester Cathedral choir. She is also Chief Nurse for NHS Canterbury and Coastal CCG.
She said: “I am excited to be working with both Ashford and Canterbury and Coastal CCGs.”
